Unlike most breweries, we self-distribute our beer throughout the Portland metro area and the Willamette Valley in Oregon and the I-5 Corridor in Washington state. That means that all the hard work of relationship building and maintenance (we love our accounts!), account management (staying organized) and beer delivery (actual heavy lifting) we do ourselves. We believe this keeps us more connected with the end consumer (you) and lets us speak more clearly for ourselves while maintaining peak freshness!
We believe that oftentimes, to do it right you’ve got to do it yourself. That’s why we’ve been proudly self-distributed since 2014.
NEVER FRESHER THAN RIGHT NOW
In 2019 we bought and installed our very own automated canning line. Prior to that, we partnered with local mobile canning companies who did as best as the circumstances allowed. The main limitation is the very simple fact that we are a very. small. brewery. Full stop. In a small brewery, timelines can and will fluctuate…and the beer’s ready when its ready, not when we want it to be. On top of that, at our core, we didn’t sleep well at night knowing that we didn’t control every aspect of our beer brewing process all the way from grain to can. We know, we’re control freaks…and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
The primary benefit to owning our own canning line is that the beer is never fresher than right now. We brew beer in small batches…and package more often…so you get the best and freshest beer possible.
